Gym Etiquette

At MINDFIT, we've built something we're really proud of: a community where everyone feels welcome, motivated, and respected. To keep it that way, we ask all members to follow a few simple guidelines.

1. Arriving for class

  • Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your class starts

  • If you are late to a Pilates or Yoga class, please be extra cautious to join in quietly and not disrupt the flow of the class.

2. Respect your coaches

Our coaches put a lot of care into planning and delivering every session. Please:

  • Listen to programme explanations and exercise demonstrations

  • Wait for your trainer’s instruction before setting up or moving equipment

  • Avoid conversations while the coach is talking

  • Follow coaching cues and corrections, they're there to keep you safe and help you improve

  • Please stay for the full duration of the class; leaving early is disruptive to others

3. Respect your fellow members

Everyone in the room is working hard and deserves a positive experience.

  • Be encouraging and supportive, no unsolicited advice to other members

  • Keep talking to a minimum during class

  • Avoid using your phone during class, please leave it in your bag or in the lobby

4. Kit and equipment

  • Bring a water bottle to your session

  • Wipe down and sanitise all equipment after use, spray and cloths are provided

  • Return all equipment to its correct place after class

  • Wear appropriate training shoes

5. The space

  • Treat the studio as you'd treat your own home, leave it as you found it

  • Help your trainer by wiping down mats after class

  • Don't bring strong-smelling food into the studio

  • Keep personal belongings in the designated areas

6. Communication

  • If you have any concerns, about the class, the studio, or another member, please speak to a coach or contact us directly. We'd always rather know.

  • We ask that all feedback and communication with coaches and staff remains respectful, both in person and online
